May 19, 2012 10am-5pm	KENT ISLAND DAY - Sponsored by The Kent Island Heritage Society This event commemorates the founding of Kent Island in 1631. Displays, activities and crafts are presented which demonstrate Kent Island's Heritage. Located in Downtown Historic Stevensville.

July 4, 2012 Starts at 10am	Annual Independence Day Commemoration - Sponsored by The Queen Anne's Historical Society Located at the Wye Plantation.

Open Site Dates, 2012 May 5 th June 2nd July 7th August 4th September 1st October 6th Historic sites throughout Queen Anne's County open their doors, allowing visitors to step back in time.
